The first step to booking an appointment with a registered nutritional therapy practitioner is to use the contact form in the "Contact Us" tab. You have the option to attend the nutritional therapy consultation face-to-face at the Nutrtiture Nutritional Therapy Clinic located in Reading, Berkshire or remotely. After booking the appointment, you will get to complete a questionnaire and a food diary. The initial consultation involves further information gathering to help identify the root causes of health issues. The consultation relies entirely on the information you provided during the consultation, as well as through questionnaires and a food diary. You must take the initiative to answer all the questions correctly because this is the only way I can assess your health accurately. I may also suggest supplements and laboratory tests in some cases. Drug-nutrient interactions will be checked before recommending any supplements or dietary strategies. GP-recommended lab test results will be interpreted as part of the programme. After analysing the information you provided, you will receive a detailed report at the end of your consultation. The report will cover your personalised dietary and lifestyle strategies.
On average, most programmes run for 8 to 12 weeks, but this may vary depending on your health requirements. If you have specific dietary requirements (e.g. vegetarian or vegan), you need to specify this in your questionnaire. Follow-up consultations are usually arranged every two weeks to assess your health improvement and make further necessary changes to your programme per the health requirements. The consultations are delivered in an easy-to-understand language and are your safe and non-judgemental space to discuss your needs. Neurolinguistic programming coaching sessions are only offered depending on client needs as part of a complete Nutritional Therapy session, not as a separate NLP coaching session.
The standard initial consultation lasts 60 - 90 minutes, and the follow-up consultation lasts 45 - 60 minutes. If you want more time to discuss, extended consultations can add an additional 30 minutes to your standard session timing. The extended initial consultation lasts 90 - 120 minutes, and the follow-up consultation lasts 60 - 90 minutes. You will also receive continuous email support throughout the programme.
